If artists have missed the deadline for the Showcase held in Manitoba and are still interested in touring Northern and Rural Manitoba, you can still have you performance apart of the Touring Directory for 2010/11. For more information please contact Barb Besner @ 204.943.0036.

Barb Benser, our performing arts program coordinator, is already accepting applications from artists who want to be part of Showcase. To date, the Jury Selections are scheduled as follows:

Southern Committee Jury: The second week of May, 2010.
Northern Committee Jury: May 28, 2010
Invited Artists Jury: The second week of May, 2010

The Jury process for the Southern and Northern Committees, which take place in the Spring, will be posted in the New Year. The final Jury process takes place in early June in Winnipeg. The performing artists will be contacted shortly thereafter.

The Manitoba Arts Network is saddened to learn of the death of Taylor Mitchell, an artist listed in our 09-10 Touring Directory. We wish to express our sincere condolences to her family, friends and loved ones at this time.
