Manitoba Arts Network is in its 25th year of operation as a provincial network of community arts organizations.

Its mission is to foster arts and culture in rural and northern Manitoba and the programming and services are both promotional and developmental.

It offers two main programs for its members:

~ Visual Arts Program

~ Performance Arts Touring Program.

Both programs are directed by committees made up of representatives of our membership.

Annually, it holds a weekend event in October for its members and potential members. In addition the FRiday Night Live and Showcases during the event, it is also a networking and professional development opportunity, including the AGM. Information on the Manitoba Showcase Contact event will be posted in Manitoba Showcase.

Our base funding comes from the Arts Branch of Manitoba Culture Heritage and Tourism. Project funding for the current year has been received from Canadian Heritage Arts Presentation Program, and from Manitoba Arts Council.
