Aboriginal Music Program (AMP) - The Aboriginal Music Program (AMP) helps Aboriginal people develop their understanding of the music industry along their ability to succeed in it. The program is a first for Canada’s music industry and has been in existence since April 1, 2004.

Arts & Culture Industries (ACI) - ACI Manitoba is a member driven, not for profit organization dedicated to supporting the arts and cultural industries of Manitoba and helping to develop sustainable careers for those working in arts and culture.

Association of Community Theatres of Manitoba (ACT Manitoba) - is a provincially funded volunteer organization with a mandate to support amateur theatre and amateur performing arts in Manitoba.

Alliance for Arts Education in Manitoba (AAEM) - "...exists to inform and promote the value of an education in and through the Arts to the public and to the educational community, as well as to influence the public will to provide rich experiences in the Arts for all children of Manitoba."

Arts on Tour (AOT) - an excellent online "how-to" handbook for presenters and also one for performers new to touring.

Arts Touring Alliance of Alberta - is dedicated to the maintenance, development and growth of a strong touring arts industry in Alberta.

Atlantic Presenters Association - the network of presenters in the Atlantic provinces.

BC Touring Council - the network of presenters in BC.

Canadian Heritage - if you are a community with a recurring local festival, or will be celebrating a community anniversary, please click on the link provided.

  • Canadian Arts Presentation Fund (CAPF) - "recognizes that arts presenters are key partners in achieving this objective by providing financial assistance to organizations that professionally present arts festivals or performing arts series, as well as their support organizations."

Canada Conference of the Arts - a national forum for the arts and cultural community.

Canada Council for the Arts - is Canada’s national, arm’s-length arts funding agency.

CAPACOA (Canadian Arts Presenting Association/ L'Association canadienne des organismes artistiques) Federally incorporated non-profit association serving the live touring industry in Canada.

Canada Travel - offers a free listing service for Festivals & Events, reaching over 1 million consumers each year.

CARFAC Manitoba- (Canadian Artists' Representation / le Front des artistes canadiens Manitoba) Since 1967 CARFAC Manitoba's association of artists have been working to improve working conditions for visual artists across Canada.

Community Cultural Impresarios - a network of Ontario presenters.

Cultural Management Institute - This program offered by the University of Waterloo offers a wealth of web-based training at no cost, such as Business Planning for Cultural Development which is an excellent overview of organizational planning, including templates and samples.

Culture Days - (Celebrating Arts + Culture from Coast to Coast.) Culture Days is a collaborative pan-Canadian volunteer movement to raise the awareness, accessibility, participation and engagement of all Canadians in the arts and cultural life of their communities.

Manitoba Agriculture, Food & Rural Initiatives "Hometown Manitoba Grant" - Supporting rural and northern communities to enhance “main street” public places and building exteriors.

Manitoba Arts Council - Provincial funding agency for Manitoba professional artists and arts organizations.

Manitoba Culture, Heritage and Tourism - Legislative body which oversees arts development in Manitoba.

MARIA (Manitoba Audio Recording Industry Association) - a resource centre for performers and Manitoba's music industry.

Neighbourhoods ALIVE! - recognizes that often the best ideas for neighbourhood revitalization come from the community itself. The aim of Neighbourhoods Alive! is to support these ideas and goals with funding and planning assistance.
